By authorizing or using Kuma Bot, you explicitly agree to the following conditions of use. If you breach these terms, we reserve the right to enforce the administrative and disciplinary actions detailed below.
Conditions of Use
- Platform Compliance: You must strictly adhere to the official Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines of whichever platform you use Kuma Bot on, whether that is Stoat, Discord or Fluxer (and their underlying providers). If you or your community violate these platform rules, you automatically forfeit your eligibility to use Kuma Bot.
- Consent to Automated Logging & Cross-Platform Relay: Kuma Bot is an administrative security tool that automatically tracks moderation actions, system events, and raid activity. By using this service, server owners and users explicitly acknowledge and consent to the logging of relevant server events, user IDs, role IDs, message timestamps, and moderator actions to maintain server security. Where a server enables bridging, you also acknowledge that your messages, name, and avatar are relayed to the linked channels on other platforms, and that moderation actions may be shared between explicitly-linked communities. - System Boundaries: Users must respect the bot's system architecture and agree to execute administrative commands only for their intended functions within authorized channels.
Community Contributions (Roadmap)
Anyone can suggest a feature or comment on the public roadmap. A few things to be clear about:
- It's public: ideas, comments and the display name you choose are visible to everyone. Don't post anything private, whether yours or anyone else's.
- Keep it civil and relevant: no harassment, slurs, spam, advertising, illegal material, or content that breaches the Prohibited Activities below. The same standards we apply in servers apply here.
- Moderation: submissions are reviewed before they appear, and staff may edit, re-label, decline or remove any post (and block abuse of the board) at their discretion. A declined idea isn't a judgement on you.
- Ideas you share: by posting a suggestion you give us permission to display it and to build it, without payment, obligation or any claim of ownership over the resulting feature. You keep the right to your own words; we simply need to be able to act on an idea you volunteered. Don't post anything you aren't free to share, or anything covered by someone else's rights.
- No guarantees: a status like "Planned" is an intention, not a promise. Priorities change, and items can move or be dropped.
Prohibited Activities
- Abuse & Stress-Testing: We strictly prohibit any abuse, manipulation, or deliberate stress-testing of this service. This includes spamming commands, flooding the bot with rapid-fire inputs, attempting to crash the backend, or abusing our external APIs.
- Exploit Exploitation: You must never exploit a bug or vulnerability found within Kuma Bot or its dashboard. If you discover an exploit, you have a strict duty of care to notify the development team immediately. You are strictly forbidden from sharing details of an exploit with third parties.
- Malicious Use: You may not use Kuma Bot, its services, or its APIs for any malicious intent.
Defining Malicious Use
We strictly define malicious use as any of the following:
- Any attempt to mislead, abuse, break, or violate the technical integrity of Kuma Bot, Aki Works, or any individual across the Stoat, Discord and Fluxer ecosystems using assets we provide.
- Harassing, abusing, indoctrinating, excluding, or seeking to disadvantage members of a protected group based on their real or perceived characteristics, including but not limited to:
- Sex, diverse romantic or sexual attraction, and gender identity.
- Race, ethnicity, or language.
- Disability or medical status.
- Expressed or preferred pronouns.
- Utilizing Kuma Bot to violate an individual's personal privacy or harvest user data.
- Deploying Kuma Bot in communities that distribute, host, or seek illegal material, including software exploits, hacking utilities, or Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Enforcement Actions
If your community or account is found in violation of these guidelines, we reserve the right to take any of the following actions without prior notice:
Completely block your account, or blacklist your entire server, from accessing Kuma Bot.
Remotely delete all database files, configuration settings, and server logs associated with your community from our infrastructure.
Submit compiled log files and transaction records to the relevant authorities if the well-being of a minor is threatened, or to platform staff if ecosystem safety rules are breached.
Place flagged instances under temporary administrative oversight to protect infrastructure stability.
Limitation of Liability
Kuma Bot is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While our platform is engineered to safeguard and optimize your community, the developers and Aki Works are not legally or financially liable for any accidental server configuration errors, lost log histories, data corruption, or missed raid mitigation events. You use this software entirely at your own risk.
